At Floors Today, we are committed to providing quality flooring products and professional installation. We proudly stand behind our work with a 3-Year Limited Warranty covering eligible flooring products and installation workmanship.
This warranty begins on the original installation date and remains valid for three (3) years for the original purchaser. It is non-transferable and applies only to flooring supplied and installed by Floors Today.
What Is Covered
During the warranty period, Floors Today will repair or replace, at our sole discretion, any flooring or installation found to have:
- Manufacturing defects in the supplied flooring materials.
- Installation defects resulting from improper workmanship performed by Floors Today.
- Defects that prevent the flooring from performing as intended under normal use.
If a covered defect cannot reasonably be repaired, Floors Today may replace the affected flooring with the same product or a comparable product if the original product is no longer available.
Installation Workmanship Warranty
Our installation workmanship warranty covers defects directly related to the installation services performed by Floors Today, including:
- Loose or improperly secured flooring.
- Separation resulting from installation errors.
- Installation-related movement beyond normal product tolerances.
- Improper fitting, trimming, or finishing caused by our installation.
Any repair or replacement completed under this warranty applies only to the repaired area and does not extend or restart the original warranty period.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear.
- Scratches, dents, chips, scuffs, stains, burns, or impact damage.
- Damage caused by pets, furniture, appliances, sharp objects, or heavy equipment.
- Water damage, flooding, plumbing leaks, excessive moisture, standing water, mold, or subfloor moisture.
- Damage caused by structural movement, foundation settlement, or building defects.
- Improper cleaning products or failure to follow recommended care and maintenance instructions.
- Natural variations in color, grain, texture, knots, mineral streaks, or normal fading due to sunlight or UV exposure.
- Damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance.
- Flooring installed over unsuitable or improperly prepared subfloors.
- Repairs, alterations, or modifications performed by anyone other than Floors Today without prior written authorization.
- Damage resulting from acts of nature or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, customers must:
- Follow all manufacturer installation, care, and maintenance recommendations.
- Maintain appropriate indoor environmental conditions for the flooring product.
- Use protective felt pads or furniture protectors where appropriate.
- Clean spills promptly and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture.
- Avoid dragging heavy furniture, appliances, or equipment across the flooring.
- Report any suspected warranty issue promptly after it is discovered.
Warranty Claim Process
To submit a warranty claim, please provide:
- Original proof of purchase or invoice.
- Installation address.
- Photographs showing the issue.
- A detailed description of the concern.
Floors Today reserves the right to inspect the flooring before approving any warranty claim.
Limitation of Liability
This warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective flooring materials or the correction of installation workmanship, at the sole discretion of Floors Today.
Floors Today shall not be responsible for:
- Costs associated with moving furniture or personal belongings.
- Temporary accommodation or relocation expenses.
- Loss of use or inconvenience.
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Damage caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where replacement flooring is provided, reasonable differences in color, texture, finish, or pattern may occur due to manufacturing variations, aging, or product availability.

This 3-Year Limited Product & Installation Warranty is intended to provide a general overview of the warranty coverage offered by Floors Today. Flooring products are sourced from a variety of trusted manufacturers, each with its own specific warranty terms, conditions, and coverage.
The warranty applicable to your purchase may vary depending on the flooring type, brand, product collection, and manufacturer. Once you have selected your flooring, you will receive the complete manufacturer warranty documentation, along with any product-specific warranty information and Floors Today’s installation workmanship warranty.
If there is any difference between this general warranty and the manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer’s warranty and the terms provided with your purchased product will apply to the product itself, while Floors Today’s workmanship warranty will continue to apply to our installation services where applicable.
